Smallmouth caught on a Rooster Tail with ultralight spinning gear in a small creek in middle TN. This is about as big as they get in that creek but it’s some of the most fun fishing I’ve ever done.

The only fish worth bragging about was this walleye my son caught last April here in Colorado. Glad it was him that caught it.

This Atlantic Salmon was a big milestone for me a few years ago. With her caught and released , it marked off the the final species I needed to have caught every single kind of fish we have swimming in Michigan waters.

All great catches. Never let anyone tell you that your trophy isnt a trophy just because it isnt in their eyes. Keep it up! Fishing is something to do during off season of hunting.

Here goes. These are mostly pictures of pictures because they’re from pre digital camera days. Some of these date back to the mid 1980’s and gave me a good chuckle, as I hadn’t seen them in many years. All were caught on fly rods except the sturgeon.

This was my boys first king salmon. He caught (reeled) all 5 pacific salmon last summer while he was 4.

My nephew wanted to try the Seward Fly out while he was up visiting, pure pandemonium and he had a blast

I found Nemo, held him way out to look bigger. Didn’t help
