Caribou head value

Saw this caribou head for sale in an NYC thrift shop and was curious what the street value actually was? They are asking $250

250 is crazy. Not to mention the hang tag says 400. 25 bucks is about all I'd pay.

Not sure why any one would want it if they didn’t kill it ? Unless you were going to cut it up and make something out of it, lamp or light or something. But that’s not a trophy rack by any means, 25.00 - 50.00 max I would think.

I agree with everyone but it’s NYC, not out west. Someone there would buy it for decoration and then pay someone to take it to their house and hang it for them.

Thanks All, have no idea about caribou value and was curious because they were willing to cut off almost 40% of the tag value. Wisely passed on it.
