I’m looking at booking a moose or moose bear combo for October ‘23 or ‘24. I have heard only good things about the Lancasters and the trip to BC seems very reasonably priced. High shot opportunity outweighs trophy quality for me as it’s likely this is a once in a life chance at a moose.
Who here has hunted with them? What was your experience? What can I expect from day to day on how the hunt goes? Main mode of transporstion (ATV/hiking terrain/boats)? How many animals did you see in week of hunting? We’re you able to pick through a few bulls?
I’m mid thirties but have had a few back surgeries. I’m not afraid of a little hard work and I do appreciate activities that kinda suck while you are doing them but I’m not going on any dall sheep hunts anytime soon if that make sense. How physically demanding is the hunting area?
Open to other options in the 10k or less range. Alberta or BC is driveable for me so that would be best.
Appreciate any feedback
