Carbon fiber Cascade Mountain Tech trekking poles back in stock at our local Costco, $29.99. Hard to beat for the price. (A person can order them online, but only sold by the pair for $69.99 https://www.costco.com/cascade-moun...rekking-pole---2-pairs.product.100702193.html )

I've been using these for years and usually pick up a set or two for backup and/or gifts. I've broken a few, but due to my own abuse while in rocky terrain and/or snow. They are relatively lightweight (about 16 oz/pair), and durable.

Costco also had a 3-pack of Duracell LED headlamps, with batteries, for $15 in-store. (Or, they can be had online for $21.99 https://www.costco.com/duracell-550-lumen-3-pack-headlamp-.product.100681259.html) For $5 each, with batteries, these are great headlamps.

I’ve had mine for 4 years. They’ve held up well but they’re kind of clanky sounding. When you hit a rock or tree root they make a clanking sound that’s pretty noisy and obnoxious.

I only use mine when packing meat so my annoyance tolerance is pretty high.

AK Troutbum is correct. Those for $23 on Amazon are the aluminum version. The carbon fiber set on Amazon are $48.

Got mine today from Costco & ordered the aluminum ones for my kids from Amazon.

Have you found a set that doesn't do that? I'm not aware of any.
