My son and I have owned a few of the non-cell type of Covert for several years, and have been satisfied with them. One or two have stayed out year around.

I have one. It takes pretty good pics.
The thing I dont like about it is it has a pretty sensitive motion detector.
It will take lots of pics with just the slightest of motion. Now I just use it for home security

Have two of the 2018 blackhawk Verizon lte model. Crapshoot on whether you will get a photo of an animal or empty woods or tail end of animal (can’t see rack). None of these animals are faster than slow walk and none are past 60’. Frustrating.
Followed manual exactly and had them long enough to try every still setting (can’t send video over cell this model).

both has been running since January and battery on the one that takes the most photos is 60%, alkaline batteries, the other is 20% and maybe 1/4 the photos. Go figure.
Both have covert extension antennas on pvc pipe, about 12’ high, well worth it in heavy planted pines.
$17/mo cell fees for both.
I’d not buy again.
