Tut looks nice. I'm going to build one 9x9x7 this spring. What material did you use? I'm using 1.3 sil
Usually 1.35 silnylon but I have experimented with other fabrics. Some have impressive properties in some areas but lack in others. I'm hopeful they'll increase hh on a couple.

Work looks great. Ever tried building an solo tarp / poncho? I'm thinking of going that route to save space and weight. Tarp would be primarily for emergency situations and poncho would hopefully be large enough to cover the pack while wearing. If you have any thoughts or possible pricing PM me.

It wouldn't be terribly difficult to add a head hole and hood to the middle of that last tarp. Use over a pack gets tricky because of stay heights

live2hunt, I have a file with a pattern for a poncho tarp if you want it (I can't recall where I grabbed it from off the net) but I used it to make some camo tarps with an orange head (just in case a warden considered it sitting in a "blind"). Drop me an email address if you happen to want it.

Ok, so what would something similar to a Hilleburg Atko cost? The Atko is what I have been looking to purchase.
I've never built one like that. I'm sure I could figure it out but honestly on something like that the original company can probably do it cheaper because the reverse engineering on the first attempt takes an extremely long time to work through without one in hand. If you want something custom that's a different story as most companies don't offer custom work.

Hey Roksliders, I've had a few PMs on this thread- thanks for keeping an eye out for us but Live2hunt is a longtime mod and now a sponsor so he's good to go with this. We put it in his tagline so that should clear up any issues. You guys are great watchdogs. Now buy the heck out of his shelters so we can raise his price.

I purchased a mega from live2hunt and received it other day. He does great work and was a joy to do business with. He went out of his way to answer all my questions. Plan on doing more business with him soon.

Thanks Robby. I am glad to help pay the bills here if I'm making money here.

Glad you're happy xtreme007.
