CVA optima v2 & Limbsaver

Anyone ever put a Limbsaver on their CVA optima? If so, what model? Did you have to modify it to fit?

I’ve been wanting to add one to mine but after calling Limbsaver a few months ago they stated they didn’t have one made for the optima yet.

I saw this today though so maybe they decided to make one after all?

Received part number 10830 today from Limbsaver and if anyone is curious it fit perfectly on my cva optima v2. Hopefully helps reduce the recoil a bit on this thing.

Did your Optima have a factory recoil pad? I have an Accura V2.

I'm assuming you removed the factory to put this on? Did it use same screw holes? I'd be interested in what you think after you shoot with this pad. Significant difference?

Same screw holes, removed factory pad. I will try and post an update after shooting, as well as photos when I get a chance.

I bought a limb saver, at Walmart if all places, for my optima that has a sort of boot that slips over the end of the stock. Remove the rock hard stock recoil pad first of course. It makes load development and practice tolerable. My early teenage boys can actually shoot it now. The stock on my optima is actually hollow!

Limbsaver pads are great. I have a 300wsm bolt gun with a Limbsaver pad and it makes a huge difference on managing recoil.

Put the Limbsaver on my optima v2 per the above recommendations. Much better for comfort/recoil than the stock butt pad. Well worth the money in my opinion.
