I found this on Youtube so not my idea but it works great. A small piece of 5/8ID (double check your valve) and a kitchen garbage bag. Push a corner of the bag thru the tube and cut the corner off. Pull a little of the bag over the edge of the tube and push onto the valve. Perfect!
This weighs about 1oz and won't put moisture in you pad and costs less than $1
