Will go back to Altra for next pair.

I've been wearing Altras for the last several years.
I recently got a pair of Altra Olympus for work and hiking. Very comfortable.

I am looking for suggestions for an everyday shoe or hiking shoe. I have been wearing Oboz for the last few years, specifically the Sawtooth 2. They had the best heal cup that I could find at the time. From the reviews on the new Sawtooth X, they changed the shoes and not for the better.

What are everyday shoes or hiking style shoes that have been good for everyone?

You can still get the 2s but I don’t think for very much longer. And the reviews you mentioned are right. The X is crap compared with the 2s.

I am liking my new Altra runners, Saloman are really comfy but do not last.

These are what I wear if I’m not working or in the woods

Just noticed that they are on sale, so I’m going to get another pair. They are really comfortable and holding up really well… seemingly not leaking yet after a lot of use, lots of mud and water helping with the horses and haven’t got wet feet in them yet.
