Oryx in New Mexico are a drawing, there are some private land options but most of them are bullshit. The only real one are the larger ranches on the West Side of White Sands Missile Range or North of White Sands Missile Range.

The best private land option is the most expensive Amandaris Ranch.

The very limited private lands around the main Contonment of WSMR are too small to hold any real numbers of Oryx. Make sure if you book through an outfitter you know where the private land you are buying a tag for.

There will also be some on the South of Fort Bliss. Oryx numbers on private lands in this area are very low.

Very cool but that’s a lot of specific info. I guess you are done applying there?
Not worried about the info they only gave 6 tags out of 3000 or so applicants . I say I won the lottery and would be lucky to draw it again if they open it up .

Actually the lottery was free to enter . But idk how often they do the lottery . I only had to pay for a non resident exotic game license and that was it .

Having hunted Oryx on WSMR I can assure you "all" that there is nothing revealing in these posts so far that isn't in the annual rule book. There is a whole lot more that could be said that would be very useful. And "basically zero" draw odds reduced by 10x is still "basically zero."
100% accurate. Just like other public land exotic hunts, your odds of getting a tag suck.

use a match bullet on the gun because the gun loves those bullets. It shoots lights out with them . Personally I have killed 4 animals with it all about 500 yard shots and a couple of my family have killed with them to . I have shot some nosler trophy grades out of it some Berger and they all shot very inconsistent. These match kings were superior to everythjng else .
