Has anyone had a break installed on a tikka super light?

Wondering if it is possible to cut a super light fluted barrel and install a muzzle break?

I had one installed on a 300WM at the end of the flutes. 1/2x28 adapter.

Did you cut the barrel down at all?

The forum store used to sell the ti pro tiny, about .700 dia and 1/2-28.

I did on several barrels. Most around 2 inches before the fluting started so that it left enough length to put the threads on properly for the brakes I was using. I was using Vias brakes before going suppressed. I'm sure there are better brakes out there but it was small enough in diameter that it looked pretty clean when on

I left my 6.5 CM at 24 and had it threaded. I would likely have it cut down if I did it again though. If having enough meat to thread is your concern, it can be done.

I have had a few superlights threaded for breaks with no problem. 1/2-28
