Hunt riflescope <$700 advice

No one has any experience with Tract riflescopes? The Outdoor Life test has me looking pretty hard at their Toric scope.

Meopta basically rewrapped their Meopro as the Zeiss Conquest all those years for Zeiss

I have a few seasons of abuse on a zeiss terra z6 reticle. Its super durable, light, basic. If you picked one of these up you wouldn't be disappointed.

What about the Terra line? The HD5 is a rebadged Meopta? Those HD5s are great glass.

Maybe now it is, but the Zeiss HD5 has been around a lot longer, been running them for years. "Best" is always a relative term. Every person's eyes, as well as their needs, are different.

Also, have yet to see a VX-5HD available in the $500 range, which you can get the HD5 in if you keep your eyes open for sales

The Terra was strictly a China made product that was added to their line up for mass merchant sales at WalMart and the like.
The HD-5 was a very nice scope. Neither one had anything to do with Meopta.

My Terra is stamped "japan" with a hand signed inspection sticker from Germany... IDK
