Potentially moving from Colorado to Bellingham, WA this coming winter. I've visited there a bunch and understand it's a very left city. It has some other amenities/job market that make it worthy of leaving Denver for. What's the bow hunting opportunities like for big game? I understand Washington isn't going to compare to Elk hunting in Colorado but with proximity to Idaho, Alaska, and potentially British Columbia it can't be that bad? Anyone care to share some insight?

Bellingham is close to a lot of good blacktail deer hunting as you head east into the Cascades. Once you get on the other side, you will be into the mule deer, and that hunting can also be good if you're willing to work for it.

The elk hunting can be pretty good there too. Especially if you do archery.

Bear hunting is really good up there.
