Well I just got back from a youth muzzleloader hunt here in N.M. This year I had me a knife made by a custom maker, named Darrin Sanders. Its made out of cts-pd1 with a rock well of about 61rc. I was able to work a full bull elk with it, without a touch up. The friend I was with had one of those outdoor edge skinners with the replaceable blades. Well while he was going through blades, I just kept on skinning and quartering my end. Awesome knife, well worth the money I paid for it. And my choice over any havalon, or razor knife out there.
