Drew a unit 5 tag with 4 points, glad I secured a farm for the bow season. Looking foward to some excitement this November.

Who else drew a tag and what units are you hunting?

Didn’t draw 5 with 3 points. Thought we had a good chance so we didn’t just buy a point like the last few years which means we wasted the $1xx for the general hunting license since we had to buy it to apply. Will go into 2020 with 4 points.

I feel ya. I used to be able to archery hunt every other year in Zone 4.

I am buying my second point this year and plan to hunt Iowa in a few years on public ground. To anyone that has hunted here, is it the mecca for whitetails it's made out to be or is it being over hunted and over hyped?
