WTS Kifaru Megatarp Clone

This is a megatarp clone made by a custom maker here, dont remember exactly who. Zip in removeable annex and zipper back door. Stove Jack. I added velcro and a workable stove jack rain cover, but nothing fancy. No poles or stakes. Really light.....packs super small... Too much overlap between this and a couple other shelters. Super Spacious. Great year round, versatile shelter. Ballistic nylon stuff sack. Very good used condition. Some seam seal is starting to peel and could be redone. $225 DROP $215 TYD via paypal.

Looks like a Gen 2, so 48” high for each pole, 60” wide at base and roughly 11’ long

Sounds about right. The zpacks pols I'm using,(not included)are 48". I'll try to set it up in the next couple days and measure the rest.

I hear ya. At 6'4" this feels like a palace to me. Way better than the smaller mids and tipis I have had. I can sit in my mtn chair and chill, change a shirt and not hit the walls. It's a good setup foe sure, but I have other options for more height and less....and this is just too I the middle/ crossover for me

Here are some sough actual dims. I bet you could pitch it taller if you wanted. This is worth 48 poles.

Thanks. Impressive shelter measurements. An up and down (300-800 feet) 7 miler yesterday with 25 lbs and cranky right hip convinces me I need a taller shelter so I can sit easy in my REI Flexlite chair.

HMG's Ultamid 4 looks perfect. 6'3" tall (I'm 5'10"). 9'x9' footprint. 18 oz w/out stove jack. Sickly green or white only colors.

Someone here recently sold an Ultamid 4 with SO installed stove jack, pole, titanium stove, etc for $1250. Missed by a few days.

DCF Cimarron with half liner would be good. So would benching 325 for 5 clean ones again. HA!

Those are all great shelters for sure! I'd keep an eye out for an original SO BCS as well. It would fit your needs very well and can be had for a bunch less money than what those are going for. Cheers!
