Found my old wetsuit the other day (hasn't been warn in 12 years). Waiting for brass to tumble today and figured I'd get crafty.

I would exact pattern, stitching, everything if I had some Truth is, it was super easy. Did what became a test run using the lower leg of the wetsuit. Then tried the lower part of the sleeve (full body suit). Slipped it on, made a few simple cuts to clear the plate on the bottom and focus knobs, and voila. Fit was great. Just cut the lower end of the other sleeve and it fit great over the eye piece. The cover over the knobs is just a piece I measure and cut and attached with velcro, however I just realized the sticky back of the velcro doesn't stick well to the neoprene, so I'll have to modify that part. The objective lens end is slightly loose. Was going to cut and sew it tighter but it makes it easy to slide out the sun shade if needed.
