Kuiu chugach or northridge?

Looking to take advantage of the sale going on. Anyone have experience with the chugach or northridge jackets? Trying to decide if chugach is worth the extra $$. Northridge may be a rain jacket only, while the chugach be better all around?

Wondering the same thing. I have not seen many reviews on the northridge.

Yes, the Chugach is worth it. 4 way stretch vs 2 way stretch and more importantly 20,000mm membrane versus 10,000mm for the Northridge. If you are just using it for the occasional storm, then you will be fine, but if you are stuck in rain for a couple days you will see a difference.

I just got the Yukon set from the sale, nice discount and with the active junky 12% cash back I should get roughly another 70 bucks back.

I thought about getting the Yukon but as rainy as my last season was I figured go top of the line. My marmot precip set served me well but it’s all taped back together and pretty heavily used.

I will say that for the $$$ marmot precip is good stuff.
