Thanks for posting this up. I have an LBO base/vestibule and kept thinking about doing the base-tarp-base setup for more room. I always wondered how it would work out to just add the connecting tarp. Looks like a great setup without having to spring for the extra base. In the end, I got a good deal on a Cimarron when I need more space. I still have the LBO so I may get the tarp to be able to add versatility.

I got a smoking deal on the connecting tarp. And I am happy i got it. I always wondered if I would actually use a stove if I was solo... So much work....
With the tarp I can add another person and split the work.
I'll have to pick a stove up and see.
