Leica Ultravid 10x42 HD value?

I am debating on buyng a used set of Leica ultravid HD 10x42s locally. Asking price is $1k. I haven't looked at them personally yet but pictures look like they are in nice shape. Are they worth it for the $$$? They would be replacing my gen 1 Razors.

I have the same pair. I bought them 14 years ago for $2500 or so. I hunt hard with them every year, in all weather. They still function like new. I've had Leupold, Bushnell, and other lower-priced brands. The Leicas far, far outperform any binos I've had before.

I own the 10x42HD+ and think they’re absolutely fantastic. I wish they had a 1/4-20 adapter but an aziac clamp doesn’t hurt the ergo’s at all. The only downside to the used one is you’re not getting Leica’s new warranty with it.
