Let's see your elk pack!

They are, but not over the counter. The tags my brother and I drew are really tough to draw. Can take over twenty years to get.

Nice way to get it done! I am a fellow washingtonian is why i asked. I have been driving 15 hours to chase bulls like that and also to get away from Washington's short archery season.

kifaru DT1

i use it for absolutely everything, best investment i ever made. im physically capable of carrying 100+ lbs, but the amount of pain other packs caused me prevented it....until i got my hands on this a few years ago!

I used a Tenzing 6000 all this past season. It's a beast! Then right as the season ended I got a Tenzing CF13! Holy this is a nice frame system! Can't wait to train with it! Probably will use a Tenzing 1250 this weekend for the shoulder hunt. Love me some Tenzing!

Here's what I ended with, the new UL Duplex frame with cargo panel, 2 medium pouches, a Guide Lid,hanging hydration bladder sack, Gunbearer and for bivy/spike camping I can get everything in a 55L dry bag. Worked okay but no antlers on it yet.

So I'm getting ready to take the plunge and get a Kifaru. I was actually gonna go with the Markor and add a lid and some pouches but after seeing your setup and watching the video on the cargo panel that Aron did I'm really leaning towards the cargo. It looks like the answers to all of my needs. I'm probably gonna swing by Kifaru after the new year and get a hands on look before making my final decision. Thanks for sharing.

These pics are from my elk hunt this year. The pack is an Exo Mountain Gear 3500 loaded with a hind quarter, backstrap and head.

First elk hunt with an Eberlestock JP9 and spike duffle. Pack worked great for camp and gear along with converting to a day pack but wasn't fortunate enough to try pack an elk out with it.

Bought Ryan's Kifaru T3 several years back....just enough room for 2-3 days gear and makes a good day pack as well. These packs are pretty much bomb proof.

EB X2 here.....loved for just a day hunt. Would get a little rough when packing over about 70 lbs. But got me an EXO 3500 this past year and love how it carries the weight. Sorry no pics of that. Still trying to figure out best way to load the sucker. But looking forward to many more.
