New Touch Screen Garmin Montana’s Announced.

Look like some pretty sweet new units from Garmin were just announced. All touchscreen and the flagship model includes a camera now.

I saw this as well. This is what Garmin should have released instead of the 66i .
I dont think the 8mp camera justifies the extra hundred dollars, curious to see real life unpaid reviews of these new models. Looks like all the service plans are the same price as last year..
Interestingly enough, no case is available from Garmin.....

My inreach explorer and iphone 11 pro max together only weigh about on ounce more than the Montana by its self. For one more ounce I get a way better camera, backup on the phone, and not mention all the other BS an iphone can do. I wanted Garmin to release something like this for a while so I could take one unit and leave my phone behind. I can get even better weight savings if I went to an inreach mini, but then I'm limited by the battery on the mini and my phone as well, so I don't believe the value is there either. At least not for what I'm doing.
