Archery season is open during our firearm seasons, but you have to wear blaze orange if firearm or muzzy is open. People do it and still kill deer with their bows. Deer have rotten eyesight and I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what you wear (probably applies to anything in the deer family). Turkey, on the other hand, are another story. I hunt turkey a lot, so most of my hunting clothes are camo for dual use.

I have a good mix of both. I am looking at new rain gear for an AK hunt, and you can bet your ass if I'm dropping 350+ on a jacket I will be getting an earth tone so I can wear it more than a few months a year.
