I took my NX8 off another rifle and mounted it onto an Origin, long action. Now, when I try to boresight it, I can’t get the crosshairs and the board to line up. The rifle is shooting way high. The elevation turret appears to run out of travel before I can get the point of impact and the crosshairs to match. Any thoughts on what might be going on here?

Origin has 20moa of built in elevation, doesnt it? Was it on a flat rail on the previous rifle? Guessing thisnis the case, and you are hitting the zero stop.

Reset the zero stop and you should be able to get it dialed down enough. You'll remove the turret, adjust the clutch plates to be further apart, and you should be able to get sighted in, then set the zero stop to your new zero and you'll be good to go.
