One Place and One Species… What and Where Are You Hunting?

If you could only hunt in one location and for one species for the rest of your life, what/where would it be?

Do you go “guaranteed wild game meat” strategy, or something like “challenging/fun hunt” year after year, etc? Maybe you are tied to specific place/species due to family tradition/comradery?

Very curious to see other hunters’ takes on this.

Although elk are my favorite I would choose whitetails because the season is months long in Kentucky.

Big game. Arizona strip and muleys.
Waterfowl. Somewhere in the Midwest and geese.

Selfishly, I would choose desert bighorn sheep in Arizona on an annual basis. Not allowed by law though. Once-in-a-lifetime species. Happy hunting, TheGrayRider.

Easily Whitetail. Because the seasons are long with multiple tags and I would pick Kentucky, or Georgia. Georgia is 12 tags 2 can be bucks and season is 4 months long.

If Elk season were to be longer I might pick differently.

Went chukar hunting once, with a buddy. We hiked to the top of the damn mountain and the birds jumped up and flew down it. I repeat, I went chukar hunting, once.
