Thanks. I'll have to go back and check but I think that was my Nikon D500 (on AF-C and aperture priority mode) and my 200-500 f/5.6 Nikon lens. I no longer have that lens, but it was razor sharp as you can see.

I replaced that lens with the 500 PF for about 9 months then missed the versatility of the zoom so I went back to a 150-600 Sigma Contemporary which I am loving. I also bought an older 600 f/4 AF-S II Nikon lens for my serious bird photography. Hoping to do more of that when I retire.

Here's a couple shots from the Sigma 150-600 C just this morning. This is uncropped, unsharpened, straight from the camera. They have been resized to fit here and the originals are even sharper than these.

That lens can really deliver and I only paid $750 for it.
