Does anyone use a portable AC for their camp/tent during early season? Looking for something like a Mr. Buddy heater, but for cooling a tent down...

Unless you are going to run a generator, the solar / battery power needed for even a very small unit is pretty high.

I don’t know what they are using lately, but the folks going to Burning Man put a lot of work into cooling - it’s a low humidity area so evaporative cooling works well, but I’ve seen small ac units with a supply and return duct piped into tents.

Anything Burners used to make themselves can now be bought on Etsy. Apparently when it’s real hot, the gals stay cooler wearing pasties. Lol

18 volt battery powered fans are pretty nice if you have enough batteries or a way to recharge them.

Ecoflow Wave 2, as was already mentioned. Heater and AC in one unit. Their ebay store usually has refurbs at a pretty good price
