Question on Binos

B.3 Maven 8x30 or Vortex Viper 8x42 looking at getting a new pair. What are your thoughts on these.

Ones a compact bino with Japanese/USA manufacturing and the others a larger bino with phillipino manufacturing. Beyond that who knows without knowing your use case.

I can tell you that for a compact bino I would buy the B3's if that was my budget because they are good, but I wouldn't buy the Vortex's at all because there's better options in 8x42 that gets you more for the money.

Go with the 42's, for light gathering capability.
