My First Lite Rain gear has failed me, so I am looking at an upgrade of both a pant and jacket..

I live in the Idaho Panhandle, so durability is a must. My First Lite stuff not only leaked, but failed the durability test.

I was looking at the Stone Glacier M5 line, but thought I would ask for other suggestions.

While I haven't personally used either, both the M5 as well as Kuiu's Yukon lineup have great reviews. A video I saw recently comparing them said the Yukons were more durable while the SG was more lightweight.

I would stay away form the FL seak as well, that jacket is garbage. I loved the hood, but it failed over and over again with a pack on . And I even got a replacement from them . The Kuiu Yukon is good buts its pretty warm when you gain elevation ( I run hot) . I had good luck with the Sitka stormfront for 3 year, but the pants are about done .. Nothing holds up to the Oregon coast, . So far I'm liking my Yukon the most !
