Rain jacket ?'s

I like the sound of the FL Vapor Stormlight Rain Jacket but it dosent have pit zips. Maybe the newer materials breath so well that pit zips are not needed as much. I have a real concern about over heating carrying a pack and climbing. I would like to hear from folks who have tryed both the FL vapor Stormlight and the Dewpoint jacket ? Which one breaths better and keeps cooler.
