Ring selection and size advice

I am working on a light weight rifle build and am now trying to select some rings. I have it narrowed down to either Nightforce rings or Hawkins. Anyone have any preference between the two? I like the integrated level in the Hawkins Ultra Light Tacticals.

I'll be mounting a NF NX8 4-32x50 onto a Defiance AnTi w/20MOA rail and a proof Carbon Barrel. Would the lows work at .885 or would I need mediums? Anyone have this action, scope, and barrel combo?

I have several guns with the NF rings and have no complaints. Just got a set of the Hawkins hybrids and like them more. I like the direct bolt on vs the rail. Hawkins .5 lows will clear, nightforce mediums will clear unless you are wanting to keep the lens caps on, then you might need to bump up.
