I felt like the sawtooth allowed me to pack everything I needed for the day/few days without over loading it. the 270* zipper is also awesome for seeing everything in your bag and not having to just access as a top loader.

I own both but just now getting some miles on each. Search up some of the past threads and there is some good comparative discussion.

Pop up is a nice (but heavy and expensive) daypack with a minor in meat hauling. I find it very easy to fill up 28 liters when it gets cold and I am hauling layers.

Sawtooth is a full size frame - heavier and more $$ - that will haul better but weighs more and is less compact.

I got the 28 and don’t understand the confusion about attaching a bow to it?.?. The longer side straps that attach the pack to the frame are male/female and work slicker than $h!t for strapping my bow to my pack.. no extra straps or confusion needed.. rifle on the other hand, not sure how that’d work
