Seasonal Roads

Forest service website
OnX but not super trustworthy
Caltopo MVUM layer is about the most accurate I’ve found outside of actually looking at forest service map

I agree. I don't trust OnX and I'm not finding maps on the forestry website, just written documents.

Are there any apps/sites that show season roads/trail closings? Thanks!
You can download free motor vehicle use maps from the USFS. You have to poke around a little to find the ones for your area but they are here. Also, download the Avenza Maps app. It’s free and very useful. The user interface isn’t great. I use it to mark seasonal closures and gate locations on my OnX app. I just put closure dates in the waypoint description.
