Yup , I've never seen a corn snake that big , it was over four feet .

For some reason I stopped killing snakes when I come across them now, even rattlesnakes. Unless they're a direct threat to human or dog, I just let them be. Must be getting soft in my old age.

Yup - corn. Look at the eye too.

We get red rat snakes down here that kinda look like copperheads and they can be real aggressive - take a minute to get your bearings while doing the 2-step retreat.

I don't kill snakes unless maybe I find one in the house. Or if you are going to eat one.

Real downside to killing a corn snake is that they eat primarily rodents.

I pulled a toilet once in a residential home, and as I was carrying the toilet out of the house a black snake fell out of the toilet trapway.

Definitely. We raised 3 meadow voles from pinkies when I saw their mom snatched up by a hawk. Huge rat snake got into the cage and killed Mini Cooper (the runt).



I slammed the snake against the wall, but then took it outside and let it go. It's a snake. It's what snakes do.

Cat caught a baby black racer in the hallway. We eventually plugged all the holes.
