My taxidermist has a weird fascination with snakes, think he is down to around 20 as pets, he’s had this guy 15+ years and he never rattles.

Well DUH! Why would HE rattle? For HIM... a Human walking up to the enclosure... for 15yrs you say... means hey maybe I'm getting fed today!

Hmm, his prairie rattler he’s had 10+ years still rattles like crazy.

Just got back from a Wyoming antelope hunt. Seems everyone was seeing rattlesnakes this year. We found this one in the road sunning himself. There was a camp next to us that had one under their RV steps as one of the guys came out... shots were fired ! LOL
