Synthetic Scents

Hey all,

I’m considering trying out using scents/attractants for this years BT season. Here in OR it’s synthetic only.

I’m a bit skeptical, but with the general season going nearly into the rut this year, I’m thinking they might be helpful.

I’m wondering what you all have tried and what results you’ve seen from them.

I used to use natural buck scrape scents in front of cameras before it became illegal, and it worked awesome to get some cool videos during the pre-rut/early rut. Tried the synthetic stuff after the law changed, and didn't seem to work at all. Just my experience!

From what I’m reading in the regs, it’s only scents containing/derived from urine that are illegal. If the stuff you used before were glad scents, those are still OK, as far as I can tell. This actually might be the route I go this year.
