Well I'm going to do another live hunt. I'll be going out tonight to roost a bird, but won't be staying over night. Like the first day I did. It may rain tomorrow. But I'm hoping not. If it dose I'm still going. I'll post on how tonight's roosting goes a little later.. Ed

Thanks Curtis C.. I did not hear a bird. But I did see 2 birds on the pole line. I didn't get to see if they were gobbles but a least they were there.. More in the morning.

Well been here about 45 mins and not a peep
The only thing I hear is the rain coming down.

6:09 heard first gobble. He out there, but far.

7:19 just saw two hens. Only one gobble so far
Raining!

Rain had stopped and now its back. But the good news is a turley gobbled out about a 100 yds or so. Lets see what happens.

9:30 slowest day so far. But it's the first day I've hunted in rain.

Ok it's 10:57 and it look like three gobbles out in the field to the east of me. Looks like they are slowly working their way towards me. In field because of rain????

11:17 I don't see them anymore. But I can only see 35% of the field. 40 mins to high noon and done. Next week we can start to hunt all day long.

Well it's noon. Didn't see the birds anymore. Packing it in for the day.
