Good stuff. Thank you. You have illustrated my dilemma to a tee. And we clearly have similar good taste. that 3-10 SHV is also on a 6.5 T3x and another SHV is my front runner to go on the 7mm.
As badly as I'd like to keep it simple with a fixed 6x, like you, the SHV checks all the boxes as a hunting scope. To keep with the theme of this thread - the work horse of this herd, my 7mm that I set up years ago just like the OP, is what compelled me to replace a number of rifles with Tikkas. Those look really nice. Good work on the paint. I painted my 7mm when I first set it up. Once I put a scope on it, I will post a '5 years later' picture. It has seen some country and been dragged through the rocks and brush. My paint job has some character.

I only have 50 or so rounds through my new T3X lite 7rem. So far out of 9 different loaded 3 round shot groups during load development with REL23 I had 2 that shot over moa. Id say all but 3 or so were .6-.7moa groups. 2 were .5s. REL 23, Norma brass, FED GM215, 162g ELDM
