Unit 7 & 8 Colorado

A buddy and I drew 3rd rifle bull tags in GMU 7 & 8 in Colorado. How are the roads in mid-Nov? I have a stock tacoma. Wondering if I should expect issues getting around the units.

Bring chains for all 4 tires. Bring a back country shovel and recovery gear and hope you don't have to use any of it, but 3rd season is full of snow and mud, so best to be prepared.

If you are not from higher altitude/cold weather areas...be sure you put in some mix for your windshield wiper fluid to keep it from freezing. Ask me how I know........stay safe!

Good luck! Roads are a crapshoot depending on the snow or lack of snow. Expect mud. If you're climbing into some steeper roads you probably want to add some weight in the back, those Tacos are light.
