Valkyrie outserts on Day Six arrow

Has anyone tried fitting the Valkyrie outserts on day six arrows? More specifically I’m trying to put the aluminum outserts onto the day six HD 300 arrows. I’ve heard Aron Snyder on kifarucast say he’s done it. I just want to make sure it works before doing it. I do plan on using the jagger Broadhead.

It should work just fine. The OD of those day six arrows are .253" and Valkyrie makes a .256" sleeve so there will be .003" play but after scuffing the outside of the arrow and applying your glue there shouldn't be a problem. I probably should use a slow setting glue so you can rotate your insert to make sure the heads won't wobble.

Looks like it got lost in the shuffle, absolutely go for it, it’ll work flawlessly. Jake Downs uses them interchangeably with the standard D6 system too.
