Variflame 2 Omega Breech Plug???

I just ordered a Variflame II breech plug for my TC Omega. My local gun store has Large Rifle primers in stock but no Large Magnum Rifle primers. I am currently shooting 84 gr by weight (120 gr./volume) of BH209. Using this load, will the regular Large Rifle primers work or do I need to have the "Magnum" primers? On the EABCO website it said to use the Magnum primers when using BH209. What do you guys think? Have any of you used the regular Large Rifle primers with BH209? Thank for any advice and help in advance.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the Large Rifle primer and a basic 209 like have been using are the same temp.

Yes, same temp (but half of the gas volume.)

Would the lower gas volume be better? Less likely to disturb the powder? Am I thinking about this right?

Alternative ignition sources can be made to work, but I think as Hodgdon says in its ignition guidelines, mag 209s are ideal for Bh209. Anything else isprobably less than ideal. You also have to consider plug design and cleanliness, bullet fit and ambient temps.
