New rig that came in Friday. Bearpaw penthalon ILF riser with Das bamboo/glass limbs. Twisted up a string for it and got tiller and brace set. Ran a couple different arrow setups thru it and both shot well.

1992 Bill Kerner Allegheny Mountain Recurve with Competition Speed Limbs. They have a strip of carbon in them. Not sure how many builders were putting carbon in the limbs back then. It wasn’t many.

I’m shooting a Kanati hybrid longbow or a mad dog longbow. Both in the upper 50’s to a little over 60 pounds. Draw them both 28 inches. Shooting a 340 carbon shaft with a 2 inch aluminum footing, and Zwickey Deltas with a 75 grain steel adaptor.

For 3D I'm shooting a Toelkie Whip 66" 42# @ 28 and a Joe Ryan XRD 62" 45# @ 28 for hunting. I'm shooting woods for 3D and i'm considering doing the say for hunting this year.

TD Pronghorn left 54 @ 26 and a Fox Breed 52 @ 28 on the right. I like em both equally.

Terribly inconsistent with both. I need to shoot a bunch more or it will be another year with the ghastly compound in the treestand .

I still shoot a my Bob Lee Signature that bought in 94 or 95. 62 lbs at 27". I shoot cedar arrows tipped with zwicky heads. I also one of my homade self bows quite a bit with homemade trade points.

I’ve got a Lockey Lion (Pearson rebrand) from the 60’s that I picked up for 40 bucks and refurbed. It draws at 50 lbs and shoots like a dream.

I’m shooting Carbon Express Geritage 150’s cut to 29.5” with 3 4” feathers and a 15 grain insert.
250 grain point weight, both field points and broadheads.

Happy to be able to post in this thread.

Stalker stick bow. Coyote 48@28.

Next upgrade will be some long bow limbs for her.

My "Old Faithful" is a Black Widow SAIII 56@26. Now I find myself using my Great Northern Bushbow with the Jack-knife takedown 52@26 for everything though.

There is just something about the long bow that keeps me coming back to it…

Yep, I want to be drawn to the recurve as much as the longbow but the longbow calls my name. I enjoy shooting both though.
