What kind of sheep - heavily broomed or not

Or get one like my first archery bighorn...a CO ram broomed well back on one side and 4-1/2" longer and basically un-broomed on the other! Love the character even if it doesn't help the score.

When you see it, you will know. My preference would be a wider one with tips in tact but it would depend on the mountain and how it looked right then.

Double broomers are hard for me to pass on, especially if they are full curl.

But this year having been blessed and have drew a late season rifle permit for Alaska 14C Chugach; I’m going to have to change up my way of selection. Double broomers are tough to make book. Mass is the most important thing for a Dall to have to make BC minimum, but tipped out length is also important. Heavy double broomers dont make book like tipped heavy rams.

So this year I am looking for a tipped 10 plus year old ram.

Broomed and heavy is my preference on a bighorn.....

Thinhorns I think both look pretty damn cool for their own reason

After 20 years of trying, I drew DS203 this year. It's only March and it's hard for me to concentrate .... tipped or broomed, I'm just happy to be going.
