Bring both. If you want to hunt a few days with your bow do it. And then if you decide to go rifle do that.

In the end, have no regrets and whichever will make you happier.

Bow only for me. Flip a coin heads = bow. If it’s tails and you want to do best out of 3 you’ll know what you want to do.

Sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity to me. Personally I'd always be wondering if I couldn't close the deal on the buck of my dreams with a bow if I should have hunted with my rifle. Seems a little less likely that you'd kill the buck of your dreams under 50 yards with a rifle and wish you had been bow hunting. I am an avid bow hunter as well and agree it's way more exciting, but I'd save that for an area I knew and a buck I had scouted all year versus a once in a lifetime. Just my two cents.

Trad Bow or Big Boomer... I enjoy both.
But if I was in your hunting boots I’d grab my laser rangefinder and be ready to twist a turret!
Good Luck either way. Shoot a big’un!
