Close…05 F250 super crew 4x4 with the dreaded 5.4L…278,000ish. I do 98% of my own maintenance. Fought the first set of spark plugs a little bit and the subsequent 2 sets have not been an issue. Had a cam phaser fail around 215K. Consumed a long weekend and I replaced the phasers, VCTs, chains & guides, chain tensioners, oil pump, water pump, cam followers, etc. Had an internal seal on the tranny fail around the 175k mark; ~$700 fix. It uses about 1qt of oil every 5k miles between changes and requires regular maintenance items. The 5.4 doesn’t do anything fast but it gets the job done empty or pulling 24’ plus stock trailers.
I have an 05 tundra with 265k as well. Timing belt, and water pump. High pressure solenoid in the tranny. Bypassed the SAIS system. Regular maintenance.
I’m sure both will hit 300 without much fuss.
Also have had 2 GMC 6.2 liters great power. Both had flattened lobes around 200K.
