2.5 miles in, 2.5 mile out with half a fatty mule deer buck. Steep bluffs, and mucho cactus.

Packed out another one last week about 3 miles in worse country (160" of antlers made it bearable). Neither my kill..im such a nice guy.

13 very tough miles yesterday- saw a group of cows, calves and a few spikes right at the end of shooting light, no brow tine bulls however-set out at about two hours before daylight, didn't make it back to the truck until about two hours after daylight- went home and promptly died

there is absolutely nothing that can get one conditioned for crawling around/over/under blowdown- it sucks the life right out of you :)

CONDITIONING:

For 2 cycles:
AMRAP in 5 mins of:
30 Bar Facing Burpees
15 Power Cleans, 135 lbs

Rest 3 mins between each cycle.
For each cycle restart the AMRAP

I got 4-ish miles in yesterday with Tiny E- nice recovery workout; my right calf is still sore- on one many falls on Saturday, I caught a broken off stob right in my calf

holy crap- that's a ton of thrusters, I'm hurting just reading that :D

The round of 12 was the worst. Broke the 1st into 12-6, broke the second into 12-3. Unbroken after that. Was right at 9 minutes. The good rowers and thrusters were close to 8 minute.

Well just did a lot of hiking, no packing. Saw deer, just not one I couldn't live without killing. Season is over.
