Zeiss victory rf ballistics

I'm a new user of the victory rf's so I have a few questions for guys that have experience with them.

Does the ballistic calculator input elevation changes by itself when changing from different locations or do I need to manually enter the elevation before each hunt? And do I need to sync the bino each time?

While bow hunting do I need to do anything besides switching to the equal horizontal distance?
