    I saw you say you have the asolo hunter extreme's. I'm debating between those and the gv's, but heard a few negatives about the lacing system on the extremes. Has it bothered you at all?

    The eyelets "grab" the laces so it keeps a secure fit. Then when you take the boots off and loosen the laces they stick a bit. You pull the laces outward from the eyelet to release. Hope that makes sense.

    It hasn't bothered me because I like a secure boot. But there is more fiddling involved.
