Kowa Big Eyes Setup

Does anyone here have any experience with the kowa 664 big eyes setup like this one from Adams Adapters? It looks to be a pretty sweet setup for long distance glassing but I’d like to hear some reviews from guys that have actually used them. Thanks!

This is pretty accurate. Boots on the ground is really the only way to know unfortunately. However a call to the game warden never hurts

Idaho Spring Bear

I’m in eastern Idaho and the snow is still a long ways from being gone. We had a few days of warm temps this week but now it’s looking like highs will be back in the mid 30s for the next couple of weeks and that’s in the valleys. It’ll be a long time until anyone can access the higher country

Utah upcoming draw application.

I would take a serious look at the manti or wasatch late rifle hunt with that many points. Those can be fun hunts with a lot of elk but you’ll have to really work for a chance at a 320” type bull

Show Up Early or Hunt Longer?

I think going in a day or two early is a good idea but I wouldn’t go in a full week early. A lot can change after opening day and whole week of scouting can go down the drain real quick
