I have a fierce rifle and after three shots the groups spread out incredibly wide. Has anyone put a different barrel on their Fierce rifle? I like the stock and action but their carbon barrel leaves a lot to be desired. I also had some customer service issues when sending it back for some work...
Agree, but make sure there is wood available. There was no wood where we were off the Ivashak river in the Brooks range, except what we could scrounge from the river, which was not much. A stove will help you dry out boots and clothes.

I used the MR Pop-up 28 to haul out an elk quarter, backstrap and neck meat without issue. It's a great day hunting pack and the load shelf lets you pack out a quarter or more right away. I am also considering a Kifaru for another option.
Kifaru is made in the USA, 100%. I would give them a try. I am looking at their packs now. That said, I have a MR Metcalf and a Pop-up 28, which I used to carry out an elk quarter, backstrap and neck meat. The load shelf worked well. Not too bad for a day pack with a load shelf.
The Corrugate Guide pants performed flawlessly for me elk hunting in Colorado last season. I also wear those and the Obsidians for just bumming around and especially for travel. So comfortable and functional.
Will the airlines allowed to use it as a carry-on? Will it meet the size limitations? Thanks for the great pictures. I’m thinking about using this for hiking and camping trips as well as a carry-on bag for weekend trips.
